Acronis Access issues on Android phones

Thread needs solution

Hi, at the company were i work Acronis Access is used to access corprate data from Android and iOS devices. Now there is issue regarding Acronis Access on Android devices.

1. The Android devices cannot enroll to acronis access. The enrollment-link in the enrollment mail doesnt work.

2. When doing a "manual enrollment" by following the steps in the enrollment mail the app crashes when the Enroll button i pressed in the Acronis Access android app.

3. Installed the app on another model of Samsung Galaxy Android-phone there is no way to get to the settings-button.

The devices that crashes during enrollment is Samsung Galaxy S6
The devices that have no (...) button in the Acronis Access app is Samsung Galaxy S5 and S5 neo

The devices is running on Android "Lollipop" and "Mashmallow" the issue did just start occuring this week.

Anders,

For your enrollment issue, could you please open a support ticket? It sounds like this is going to require a bit of troubleshooting that is better served by that.

For the menu button issue, our application is still using what's called the legacy menu button. Certain manufacturers have ceased displaying this button as it has been deprecated by Android. To access the button on such a device, issue a long press on the multitasking button. We have also seen some manufacturers use a long press on the back button to access this functionality, but only a small number so try the multitasking button first. Our reliance on this button will be removed in an application redesign scheduled to release in a few months.
