11.7 simply won't backup. Downgrading to 11.5
I tried 11.7 using 2 builds, including the one just released. It won't even try to backup when I run a previous plan. Neither full, nor diff BU will start. Nor will it add anything to the log to tell me it tried to run or why not.
Never had a problem under 11.5 like this.
I even edited and re-saved the plan under 11.7. Didn't help. Apparently I can create a new plan and at least my first test worked, however I can't do that without losing the current backup association for creating new differentials without having to make another full backup (about 700 GB in this case) ...
Acronis needs to do better testing before they release new software.

I had the same issue.
The easiest solution to fix it is to export the backup tasks and import them under 11.7.
It worked for me.
Another solution, that work for 75% of the tasks, is to edit the backup task, open the Backup Options, go through all the settings, and resave the tasks. In most cases it worked.
I think there may be a new backup feature in 11.7 that wasn't present in 11.5 and that need to be initialized. Saving the task again fixed it.

Thanks. I did the export / import last night as a last ditch effort (fearing that I might lose association with the existing backup files) on a hunch and it worked. Your other option is what I tried earlier and it failed to make any difference.
I am as much put off by Acronis failure to warn people up-front with workarounds, as I am that the problems exist in the first place. I have trouble believing that they didn't know that their customers would experience this problem. But how hard could it be for them to build into their product the intelligence to check and migrate the BU plans upon install?
