ABR 11.5 Advanced Workstation - Adding clients to the AMS during installation with a transform file (network requirements?)

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

im Installing the Acronis components via a 3rd party software delivery system to my clients.
(mst_gen.vbs /msi_path C:\AcronisAgentCore.msi /account mydomain\agentuser MyPassWd /ams_address managementsrv /ams_user adminname AdminPassWd)

I have following situation:
- some clients have full network access to the AMS (no firewall limitations to the AMS).
- adding the clients to the AMS during the installation process works fine.

- some other clients have limited access to the AMS (the client can reach the AMS only via TCP/UDP Port 9876; everything else is blocked on the network; even the ICMP ping is disabled)

*AMS networking to the clients isn't limited. The icmp ping from AMS to client is also enabled.
The installation process is always successful; I've found no issues.
If I manually add a client (from this 2nd group with network limitations) from the AMS GUI, it also works fine.

Is the disabled ICMP ping from the client to the AMS my problem? Or is the client checking for a response from the AMS over another port?

Looks like the problem is not network related. All the client needs is the default TCP/UDP port 9876.
What could cause the problem, that some clients weren't added automatically to my AMS Server?
Both clients have been installed successfully with the same software package.
