Goal is to do the following.

Servers are Windows VMs on vSphere 5.1. Acronis is centrally managed.

1. Full backup to local storage node. Not sure of frequency. Most likely synthetic after initial full.
2. One, possibly several, daily incrementals to local storage node.
3. Replicate at least one incremental to remote storage node across WAN. This should happen at least once a day during off hours.

Source site has only a 1.5mbps connection. Servers consume about 500gb. This will take a long time to try to replicate a full backup. How do I go about exporting a copy of the full backup and then importing it into the storage node at the remote location? I see where I can export the backup but I'm not seeing where import is an option anywhere. Am I missing something? Once able to import the backup, what needs done for the backup job to start using the imported backup when replicating changes between the two storage nodes? Is there a better way to do this such as the seeding option available to online backup users?
