Hello,
i have a Win 2008r2 Server with Exchange2007 and SQL-Server running in Hyper-V machines on it.

I used ABR 10 and now got ABR 11.5 Advanced Server.
I deinstalled ABR10 and installed ABR11.5.
I had to implement all backup plans manually again, as stated in the documentation - no import conversion possible - but now i face the problem that old plans seem to run in the background.
I get errors of the the new plans "wait for" and on the dashboard i see error messages of the old tasks "can not open target", which is fine becasue i updated the NAS and the the target folder on the new NAS to a new name.

How can i get rid of the old backup plans and tasks without deleting all pans and putting them manually into ABR11.5

I can not stopp the new backup plans with are waiting, the Stopp button does not have any impact. So i can not Export tha plan and reimport it later.

It looks like ABR11.5 has a major missing feature, i can not save a running backup plan.

Thanks for help,
Reinhold

Hello dlohnier,

Thank you for using Acronis software. I am happy to assist you to solve your issue.

I suggest first to export all created backup plans from Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 and then to clean up the Acronis Scheduler. After this operation, you can import the backup plans again. Your issue should be gone then.

If you need additional assistance, please contact support. You will find your support options in our Customer handbook.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Peter,

thanks for the tips, i did it in the way you described.

But the Backup Plans are still all visable in the ABR11.5 Lists and it looks that the old plans are trying to get activated too by ABR11.5 which makes the real plans to wait for something which will never happen.

I have no active support plan and it looks like Acronis is not providing installation spport with the product, which is pitty and pour.

But installation of the Server products was always a hard and time consuming job, so installation support should be included.

Regards, Reinhold

Hello dlohnier,

Thank you for your quick reply.

After exporting the backup plans you should delete them in the GUI. Sorry that I forgot to tell you this step.

Let me know if you need additional help please.

Thank you.
