Acronis Agent for Windows and Drobo 5D

Thread needs solution

I recently got a drobo 5d and while connected it was not responding at all. Did a clean install it worked great until I did my Acronis 11.5 install. I traced the issue to the windows agent. If i uninstall just the agent for windows the drobo goes back to working normal. As soon as i reinstall the agent the drobo went back to not responding for a very long time and not being detected in the dashboard. Went back to my previous install , removed the windows agent and everything worked great. Tried an older drobo (2nd gen) and it worked fine with that also. So i'm sure there's some issue with the 5d and the windows agent. I installed true image for the mean time and no issues with that so far but i really would like to go back to AB11.5.

I'm not sure if anyone else may have seen a similar issue with the drobo 5d or any other new drobos? I'm not sure what I can try to get this working again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 8.1 64 bit
Drobo 5D connected via usb 3 (tried usb2.0 also)
all latest versions of windows and B&R11.5
