Here an update on the latest releases for Acronis Backup 11.7.

Acronis Backup 11.7 Update 1:

- North America edition: Build 50214

- Maintenance build: Build 50058
 

What's new in Acronis Backup 11.7
 

Installation

- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 can be used to store the databases of Acronis Backup Management Server.

- By default, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express is installed with Acronis Backup Management Server in Windows earlier than Windows 8.
 

Applications support

- Recovery of Exchange 2016 mailboxes and their contents from database backups.

- Protection of Oracle data with disk-level and database-level backups. For database backups, Acronis enables integration of AcronisBackup backup plans with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).

Virtualization

- Support for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.6

- Support for Windows Server 2016 with Hyper-V role (agent-less backup of Hyper-V virtual machines)
 

Supported operating systems

- Support for Windows Server 2016

- Support for Debian 8.3-8.5, CentOS 7.1, Ubuntu 16.04, and Fedora 24

- Support for Linux kernel version 4.5
 

Other

- Updated Linux kernel for Acronis Bootable Media environment to support more modern hardware.

- Support for Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 10, version 1607.

- Backups to FTP are no longer automatically split into 2-GB files.
 

Fixes for the following issues:

  • [ABR-113076] Updating Acronis Backup Storage Node hangs at removing duplicate files.
  • [ABR-113725] StorageServer.exe crashes during a validation of a deduplicating vault with a corrupted datastore.
  • [ABR-113880] Acronis Backup Management Server service does not start after a Windows reboot.
