Hi Oh,

which OS do you use on the machine with an agent?

If it is Windows Server 2008 R2.

Cause: The user under which Acronis Managed Machine Service (MMS) is started is not a member of Administrators group.

Solution: Add the user under which MMS runs to domain Administrators group or run MMS under a domain Administrator account.

Further information you will find in this article.

Additional please check all the services of Acronis in the services tab running under proper credentials.

Please have a look at this article for the services. And then once you have checked, please make sure that you also run the backup plans under proper credentials.

For Windows 2003 there is a hotfix ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2283089 ) for the error 0x80070553 (its decimal value is in the error above - Fields: code : 2147943763 )
