Any chance to recover some .tib archives

Thread needs solution

After main data drive failure I discovered, that my archives, what I was running almost every night on local USB drive and via network on NAS, are not OK. Some of those archives is not possible to open as archive at all (our mount it) or restore it, some does not contain all the source data (missing major directory for me). Strange is - no errors in logs, but I did not performed validataion.
Anyway, I have files like 1.3TB, what may contain my valuable data. Is any chance to restore the required data or it´s useless? I mean if exist any software or service, what may help to fix the file.

Hi Tomas,

I am very sorry that you faced an issue with corrupt backups.

The steps that could be possibly help would be to:

1. Copy the corrupt backup archive to the internal hard disk drive (if the backup is on an external resource/media);
2. Mount or explore the backup archive and try to restore files or folders from it.

If no of these steps works, check if the new created backups are not corrupted and it's validation is successful.

Here you can find the algorythm Troubleshooting issues with the new created corrupt backups.
