Backup fails after installation 44411

Thread needs solution

Hi All,
I've just installed 11.7 build 44411 and from now on all Backups failed!
(Win7 64 SP1 Enterprise, 16 GB RAM, I want to backup a Folder from an HDD connected via USB 2.0 to another HDD, also via USM 2.0, nearly 1 TB available space). The backup file was written on the Backup-HDD, but then after round about 42 % the Backup failed, the Backup File was removed, all USB-HDDs are disconnected and agian reconnected (?? why ??) ...

Has anybody an idea, what's going wrong?

Hi again,

I've tried to de-install 11.7 44411, and 11.5 too. I hoped, I'll have a try to prepare for a new clean setup, but this failes too.

  • when I try to install 11.7 directly, I've got a message, that I have to remove the Russian language first. So I tried to remove all info in folders and registry, but this doesn't help.
  • then I've installed 11.5 again, but the update to 11.7 failes again with the same message about Russian language.
  • I'm a bit afraid, when I saw that all my backup profiles still exists, as I thought I have destroyed all info about that, even all backup files and folders ...
  • but every new start of backup failed immediately

Nothing is working anymore ... Is there anybody who can help me to re-install and update to 11.7! What shall I do?

Hi Reinhardt,

I suggest you go to Control Panel - Programs and features, locate all Acronis components and uninstall them. You can also do it with the installation file of Acronis.

If this doesn't help, please use the Cleanup utility, which will delete all traces of Acronis software from your computer.

Concerning your backup problem, it would be necessary to see the log of the operation in order to understand the problem.

Go to Log --> Select the Activity and then click on "Save selected to file".
