Backup with GPT Windows System on MBR System Restore?

Thread needs solution

Hi, can i restore my GPT System Backup on a MBR System? And if yes, is the restored MBR System then exactly how my old GPT System?

Yes, it's described in http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#12540.h… and child help topics. During UEFI-BIOS conversion nothing is changed in the operating system's drivers, so I'd say that it will function exactly as the original one. Note that you need to switch the target computer to boot in BIOS ( Legacy) mode prior to recover, if it supports booting in UEFI mode.

Okay thanks!
I did that now and got a boot Error "0xc0000225 access failure". I tried the Windows Repair Function multiple Times, but it didn't resolve this.
Now i have MBR Partitions, with my Data on it, but it cant access somehow. (Bootloader?)
Also i changed my Bios to required Settings.

If you restore it to a different computer, you need to use Universal Restore and provide drivers for the new motherboard ( mostly chipset and disk controller)

But it is the same Computer, just with MBR Partition.. :-/
Any other Ideas? I don't want to install a new Windows, i hate it to setup all Programs new.
Thanks for your Help!
