Hello,

is it Possible to Backup a SQL DB with the Standart SQL Advanced Agent without the SQL Modul?
I just need to Backup a consistent mdb File.
Did the VSS Provider from the Systme or from Acronis make a consisten backup from a open SQL DB or do i need the SQL Modul from Acronis?

It's possible, but granular recovery will require more steps performed manually - outlined in http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#22928.h… . SQL single-pass addon collects the metadata during backup stage and allows automated granular recovery. The backup itself will be consistent without it too.
