Is there a way to configure Acronis to eliminate this warning?

Any solution being looked at by Acronis?
This seems to be affecting Windows 8/8.1 and every scheduled job is flooding the logs with WARNINGS, which is "annoying" or a "problem" when you have dozens of machines being backed up and you constantly get a reminder or warning email.
Also, what do you mean by "in the worst case you will need to set the boot volume in UEFI manually (once)."
I have not restored a Windows 8/8.1 machine yet, but now you make it seem like I am going to have problems or FAILURE if I attempt to do so. Please provide instructions or explanation, thanks.

On a MBR disk (i.e. with a BIOS boot) active partition is marked by a flag in the partition table, it's backed up and restored and the correct OS boots after restore. on GPT disk there is no 'active' flag - partition to boot from is determined by UEFI variables. If they can't be read (presumambly due to incorrect UEFI implementation on the particular hardware ) this warning is logged and attempt is done to determine the boot partition by other means. If the guess turn out to be wrong (but it may guess right), boot after restore will fail and you will need to set correct boot partition in UEFI setup. One time after the restore operation.
Currently there is a low-priority bug for an empty message in this case.

Hi,
I get the same message when preforming simple back up: 19.857.413(0x12F0005)
My colleague just tried to restore after getting these warnings too and unfortunately he cant boot windows now. If there is a solution to how to restore the boot, can you please help with advise?
This afternoon i have to do the same restore with same messages, since I cant accept this to not work. I really hope there is a solution to this...
Rgrds,
Allan

Hi, Allan,
have you already checked if Fedor Larin's solution can help in your case?
Namely, to set correct boot partition in UEFI setup (one time after the restore operation).
As it was explained, such warnings appear when during backup process Acronis Backup failes to detect the boot volume analyzing UEFI boot variables.
