Backups Failing: Command 'Updating data catalog' has failed." Event Code 0x0135003D+0x01840002+0x01840009

Thread needs solution

Can anyone help with with some possible next best steps to resolve the log and email error's below? I'm new to Acronis and the system was configured for our organization well before my start so I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting. Looking to avoid any fee-based support costs for the organization if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide. The

I just noticed that we're not running the latest build, we're currently running Acronis Backup 11.5 build 11.5.43916. Perhaps updating to the latest version will help? Just performed the update with no problems.

Hello David,

Thank you for your posting! If the issues occurs again, please delete the Catalog and create a new one:

  • delete the content of folders 1) Catalog in the vault folder 2) Catalog under C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\Catalog on the machine with Agent;
  • click on "Catalog now" in the archive-view of the vault
