Backups failing with - Failed to revoke the issued certificate

Thread needs solution

I'm have multiple site backup to cloud failures with the same error:

3 Information 9/21/2015 2:00:15 PM Failed to revoke the issued certificate.
Additional info:
--------------------
Error code: 249
Module: 295
LineInfo: ed734266616c9a32
Fields: FileName : C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\OnlineBackup\mxxxp@lxxxn.com\2xxxx9.crt, $module : disk_bundle_vs_39029
Message: Failed to revoke the issued certificate.

When I look for the "C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\OnlineBackup\mxxxp@lxxxn.com\2xxxx9.crt file" I find it doesn't exist. The directory is empty.

This is happening at different sites with different accounts. Nothing was changed configuration wise. The backup just suddenly stopped working.

I have tried changing the password but that didn't help. I also ran the tool that checks to make sure the necessary ports are open and those tests all passed/succeeded.

I have contacted Acronis support but that hasn't helped to this point either. I'd appreciate any input on this if you have any ideas.

Thanks,
Frank

Hello Frank,

Thank you for your posting! If the online certificate is not being downloaded automatically, the issue should be investigated by our web team. You said, that you've already contacted support, could you please send me the ticket number, so that we can track on what stage the investigation is. I would also suggest updating to the latest build and adding Acronis to the white list in antivirus software.

Thank you,
