Cannot start the Acronis Managed Machine Service

Thread needs solution

Hi

I am using Acronis Backup and recovery 10.
Now I have updated my computer to new Windows 10 OS.
Since that update I cannot start the Acronis Managed Machine Service because of a service in the list of dependend services could not be started or has been marked as deleted.

But all services in the list of dependend services are started and NOT marked as deleted.

I also have reinstalled my Acronis Backup version. Didn't help anyway :(

Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 came out many years before Windows 10 was ever announced and, unfortunately, the changes Microsoft made to Windows 10 mean that the two products are simply not compatible. Development of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 has finished and we do not have the possibility to release an update to make it compatible.

The good news is that you can upgrade to the latest 11.5 version, which is fully compatible with Windows 10. If your product is still under maintenance, this upgrade will be free.
