Gary,

Where are you looking for the file, in Local or Central Vault or in local folders?

Colin,

Thanks, We use command backup to local LUN < let say Drive Z>, then want to use GUI console restore the image to different server.

Thanks

Hello Gary Tong,

Thank you for posting this issue in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

First I want to thank Colin B for supporting you.

If using the command line utility, you will not see these tasks in the GUI of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5. Is there a special need to use this command line utility? If not you can define most of the necessary settings via a default task in the GUI of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5.

If you need additional assistance, you can contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.

Peter,

Thanks for your prompt reply. Since the GUI backup only support one time schedule, so we need to use command line to backup, then put in windows scheduler, but user want to use GUI to restore the image. BTW, any support or solutions? if we open the support ticket

Thanks

Hello Gary Tong,

Thank you for the quick reply.

When you are using the custom backup scheme, you where able to add additional plannings. So you are able to define more than one time to run a backup. See our online help for more information.

If you need additional assistance, you can contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.

Peter,

I got this ans solved, By the way, can Acronis support incremental restore from command and GUI.

Thanks

Hello Gary Tong,

Thank you for your reply.

In Acronis products you everytime choose a defined time and date from an archive to restore. Another method is to use the data catalog, where you can browse and choose a specific version of one or more files. There is no need to know, what kind of backup in the chain it is. If it is an incremental, it will recover all data in the same way, like you recover from a full backup. Find more details about recovery in our online help.

If you need additional assistance, you can contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.
