Convert to Full fails, but doesn't free disk space

Thread needs solution

Acronis 11.5 running on SBS 2011, vault is on a Seagate NAS.

I was trying to run "convert to full" to consolidate incremental backups and free up some storage. The procedure ran for almost 2 days before failing.

Before the conversion, there was approx 1.5 TB of free space on the NAS for the vault. The base full backup was about 900 GB. After the fail, there is only 520 GB free

In the wake of the conversion, a new .tib file was created that is almost 900 GB in size, with today's time stamp. Can this file be deleted? If not, how can I reclaim the disk space consumed by the failed conversion?

At the moment, I'm more concerned about recovering the space than the reasons for the failure.

Many thanks,
Chris

Can I delete the tib file created during the failed conversion, or will doing so damage the archive? If not, how do I reclaim the space consumed by this tib file?

Thanks,
Chris
