Creating of BCP plan

Thread needs solution

Hi, I am running a server that runs on SQL system connecting to 2 POS terminals i need some help to set up redundancy to ensure business continuity.

I can provide DR machines. Is there a method that has online cloning from the Production machines to the DR machines?

If not, what best that I can do for the BCP plan?

Hi Bolasutra,

Thank you for your question! The way you protecting your SQL systems depends on the product you have. If you have Acronis Backup Advanced for Windows Server, you can set up a disk-level backup to protect applications running on Windows servers. Granular restore of SQL from this kind of backup is not possible, only the whole system can be restored. Please refer to the following article for more information.

Acronis Backup Advanced for SQL provides SQL-specific backup and granular restore of the SQL databases. Here you will find instructions on how to set up the backup of clustered SQL Server instances and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.

Thank you!
