Dedup Depot and Restore without ASN

Hello,

i have a Dedup Depot on an NAS Server. The Backups works Korrekt over an ASN Server in my Network.
My Question is how to recover my Server when the ASN Server Crashes? How ist the right Path? Can i install a New ASN on an Windows Client ore do i need a Server? How long will it take to reinitalize the Dedup DB? Hase anyone experiance with this?#

Yes, install new ASN, attach the vault. According to userguide, reinitializing dedup DB may take significant amount of time. It may be installed on desktop OS too, if you do not plan to actively use it on this machine, as desktop OSes limit number of inbound connections to 5.
