Hello oorooj,
Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.
In order to assist you, I need more detailed information:
- What Acronis Product you have used for the operation?
- What drivers you have added during Acronis Universal Restore?
The messages shows, that you have missed to add specific mass storage and chipset drivers for the recovery. The drivers need to be unpacked and you need to have a folder, that contains all the specific files like .inf, .oem, .sys, .dll etc. See our knowledge base for more information about Restoring to Dissimilar Hardware with Universal Restore.
If my suggested steps does not solve this issue, please collect following information:
- Acronis Universal Restore Log;
- System Report from Acronis Bootable Media;
- What happens to the machine after the restore? (Black screen with blinking cursor, BSOD?)
If you get a BSOD then specify BSOD 8 character code (e.g 0000007B); - Extracted Windows registry from source tib file;
- Capture of target systems registry from target system;
- Mass Storage drivers (zip/exe/sys/inf's);
- Acronis Disk Report from the restored system;
Then contact support and provide the collected information and a reference to this post. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.
If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.
Thank you.
