Error 0x70004 and 0x40005 after Upgrade to 11.7

Thread needs solution

Hello After i have Upgraded to the new 11.7 Acronis Software , our tape backup will not longer run.

 

I recive following errors :

7   Information   07.05.2016 07:21:48   Locking tape drive for backup.

8   Information   07.05.2016 07:21:48   Tape drive 'QUANTUM ULTRIUM 6 4142 (HU1325W9CH)' is locked.

9   Information   07.05.2016 07:21:48   Selecting tape for backup.

10   Information   07.05.2016 07:21:49   Tape 'Tape-8b' is selected.

11   Information   07.05.2016 07:21:50   Mounting tape 'Tape-8b' to drive 'QUANTUM ULTRIUM 6 4142 (HU1325W9CH)'.

12   Fehler   07.05.2016 07:21:51   Aktion mit  der Partition '0-0' wurde abgebrochen.

Die Anforderung konnte wegen eines E/A-Gerätefehlers nicht ausgeführt werden

BEfore it all was runing fine. We have retaarted the computer ( soft and Hard) and we have changed the tapes. Has someone an idee what is happend?

Hi Michael,

I am really sorry you have encountered such an issue.

First of all, try to reinstall drivers on the tape device, then please, run a rescan of tapes and a full inventory. After that, try to create a new backup to tapes.
