Extremely slow backup

Thread needs solution

I have a server 2008 R2 running Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5, it has a 4 backups that run at varying times throughout the evening / night.  I currently run a files differential backup to USB that starts at 18:10 however this doesn't actually starting running properly until 2 am.  It's backing up about 300GB data, flat files no exchange or anything like that, logs are below.

It then locks the D Partition (my data drive) and proceeds to run the backup from 2 - 6 am.  This timing seems acceptable to actually run the backup, however I cannot understand why it takes so long to get to here.

Hello Craig,

Are you using the latest build version? Could you please attach the full log of the operation (Right click on the backup plan -> Log -> Export. Please also check the backup with the deactivated option Volume Shadow Copy Service.

Thank you,
