Failed to connect to service 'MMS' on Linux Server

Thread needs solution

I am trying to make an image using Acronis Advanced 11.5.
The servers I want to backup are running Linux Server 14.4.
I installed the Acronis Advanced 11.5 on another PC running Linux Desktop 14.
I also installed the Acronis service on the Linux server.
When I open the Acronis Backup Management Console and click 'Manage a Remote machine' the dialog pop allows me to select my Linux server but when I click OK I get this error.

Code: 11,337,766(0x00AD0026)
LineInfo: 0x1C13ECEB383289C1;

Module: trueimg_remote_full_lxa64_38929
Message: Failed to connect to service 'MMS'. Destination host 'eflexwebserver' is unreachable or a firewall may be blocking the connection.

At the bottom is this error code: Event code: 0x00AD0026

Does anyone know why this is happening?
Is there something else I need to install/run on the Linux server?

Hello

In your case the problem might be either that MMS service is really not answering on the target machine or incorrect iptables configurations.
Please see this article for steps to try to localize the problem https://kb.acronis.com/content/46820
