Failed to create volume snapshot
Always stalls at 20% for about 15-23mins. temp file gets created at 2GB but the XML stays 2MB. It was able to run it once after doing chkdsk but now it's giving errors again. I cant afford to lose so much downtime on chkdsking every week to run the job.
-tried re-creating the backup
-deleting the lck files on fileserver
-deleting the old xml
-kill acronis processes and mms.exe
-checked vssadmin list writers. all stable
-tried changing the back up use system VSS
-tried enabling shadow copy on C:\
-tried backing up locally to D:\ instead of fileserver
-it has enough space to create a temp write file
Any help is appreciated. Nothing helpful in the event log
