Hello there,

I have ubuntu 32bit on a 64 bit machine ( no comments ). And i installed Acronis server 11.5 but after installation it poped up a message informing me that i have a firewall and i need to add the service to it.

ok then did:

1) /etc/init.d/!acronis service! stop
2) checked that the port 9876 is in config file
3) ufw allow 9876
4) restarted services where !acronis service! include rms, mms, agent, schedule

Still when i start the ink file from my desktop i get the following error

ok I think a solution is to run

1) sudo -i
2) type root password
3) run acronis_console

and it runs like a charm

If there are other specifications you are welcome posting them.
