Import TIB files to B&R 11.5

Good afternoon,

We have recently upgraded from Acronis True Image Workstation 9.1 to Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5. We have a number of backups (.TIB) files from the old software which are not included in the new software and was wondering if there was any way to 'import' them - so the speak.

My other concern is when I attempted to recover one of these images I was told that the archive was unavailable and did not exist to the software.

My final question is, am I able to move these .TIB files around my system and keep them in the GUI?

It should be possible to restore backups made by 9.1 with 11.5 . Select the folder where .tib files are located in 'what to recover' dialogs, if nothing appeared in the view below - press 'refresh' button. This will regenerate metainformation for backups (.xml file) and 11.5 will see them.

If it's personal or centralized unmanaged vault, just place them there and try the same. However if you are talking about centralized managed vault, I'm not sure if there is a supported way to do this. You may try to regenenerate their meta in a personal vault first, then export the archive into the centralized vault.
