Hello,

we have a large amount of backups stored on a CIFS share. Is it possible to import this data to a managed vault with deduplication and thus save space?

If you have ABR 10, the KB is OK. Otherwise, try the following:
acrocmd export archive --host=storage_node --credentials="ASN user",pass --service=asn --loc=CIFS share path --credentials="cifs user name",pass --target=bsp://storage_node/my_vault --progress
Here:
storage_node = your storage node name/IP
ASN user = user name of an ASN user
pass = the corresponding password
my_vault = the vault name
