Install On Windows 10

Thread needs solution

Hi.

I have a copy of Acronis Backup and recovery 11, which used to be installed on my windows 7 laptop. Since installing Windows 10, When i try to open the sofware i get an error saying that the machine failed to establish a local connection. It looks like the acronis managed service wont start. Any one come across this?

Thanks

Chris

Hello,

If this is Acronis Backup and Recovery 11, it does not support Windows 10 due to the changes Microsoft made to their system.

If it is Acronis Backup 11.5, you can install the latest build to get Windows 10 support as it is fully compatible.
