Issue with Remote Software installation on agent machine in different domain

Thread needs solution

Software Version: ABR11A_17318_en-US (Come with our company part number order, which has been tested with our company for product compatablity, so I have to use this version)

My Management Server and Storage Node are on the same server machine name Server_A (Windows Server 2008 R2), and this server happens to be the primary Domain controller for Domain_1.

A domain account Domain_1\ABC has been created as Domain Admin for the Domain_1, which should be in the administrator group for all machines in the Domain_1. Management Server related software are all installed on the Server_A by using the existing account Domain_1\ABC and verified the related service does use this domain account in the Services management window for the server.

I have sucessfully remotely install the agent software on another server Server_B with in the same domain and same subnet. This agent machine also using the existing domain account Domain_1\ABC.

Another server Server_C is in a different domain Domain_2. Domain_1 and Domain_2 are Parent_Child relationship and they trust each other (Did tested with login using the other domain account to login the different domain servers). Another domain account Domain_2\DEF is created as Domain Admin for Domain_2. Server_C is also in a separate subnet. But the firewall between these two subnets are wide open and no port is blocked, Server_A can ping Server_C. However, when i try to using IP address to add the agent software components to the Server_C, I was challenged with the credential, with the credential Domain_2\DEF and password provided, I got the invalid password credential error msg. I talked to our company tech support before, and they told me to create a domain account in Domain_2 with the same username ABC and same password. But no matter i provide credential as Domain_2\ABC or just ABC and password, same error msg.

First, since my software version is a little bit old, NOT too sure whether this will be an issue or a hotfix can fix it?

Second, does anyone has similar problem? Or anyone who successfully deploy agent software remotely install across domain can share any good experience and thoughts?

I am working on the client site and need to finish it in another day or two, so your help is much appreciated!
