job fails to authenticate

Thread needs solution

All of a sudden all my daily jobs are failing with issues that the service could not authenticate to the storage node. Not sure if this is related, but its just as we changed the password and disabled user account of a previous IT admin. I've reviewed the Acronis services and they are not using his credentials.

I did find another post that mentioned checking the backup destination credentials of the job, but I don't seem to find that anywhere. Apologies for being a novice, I'm just inheriting a bit of a mess from a previous employee and unfamiliar with Acronis Backup & Recovery...I'm a former Symantec user (gag).

When you edit backup plan, access credentials for vault are under 'show access credentials' in 'where to back up' section.

Thanks for your response. I did check that and enter valid credentials...however the job continues to fail. While editing the backup plan, the "where to back up" section reports the following message:

Cannot obtain the location information because there is no access to the location. Provide the access credentials. The vault you have selected is unavailable at the moment. If it is inaccessible when the task starts, the task will fail.

I click the 'access credentials' link, provide valid credentials and save, but each time I close/re-open the plan settings it reverts to the message above. What am I missing here?

I'd try to edit the location settings, enter password if prompted and save. If this doesn't help, create a test plan ( a file backup of small amount of files) to the same location - does it work?

Also to check - what are 'vault users' / 'vault administrators' in this centralized vault settings?
