Log says job completed successfully but the email says it failed

Thread needs solution

I had this happen a year or so ago and never did get an answer. The log says everything was 100% successful yet the email says it failed. Any ideas?

Hello Jim,

Thank you for your posting! The issue may occur, if you for example deleted an old backup-plan, but it wasn't completely removed and that's why you get these "ghost" messages related to the non existent tasks. I would suggest to export the backup plans and then to delete all tasks from the PC using Acronis Scheduler Manager (task zap command in the following article https://kb.acronis.com/content/1859). Next import old plans, so that only the actual plans are present on this machine.
