Making a drive/volume backup of a second server recently added to the network

Thread needs solution

We have a SBS 2011 Server that is our main file server. Recently we added a second 2008 R2 server to the network as a member server to take over some of the load on the SBS server. Due to speed and network issues it sound like the cheapest thing to try at the time. So here we have an SBS 2011 server running next to a 2008 R2 server. What is the cheapest way to make a FULL) Image/Disk/Volume backup of the Drive o the server. I know I need the agent insalled on the 2008R2 server but there must be a cheaper way than shelling out another 1,600.00 for it.

There are no other perfectly legal ways. ABR Server for Windows (standalone) costs less than 1,600 (USD?) , namely $850. Even Advanced Server for Windows is $1400, not 1600.
