Management Server Console not showing running Task

Thread needs solution

Hello,

we have Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7.44421 with 2 Nodes at different locations.

After starting a long running replication task to the remote location the Console show this task. But suddenly (i.e. at the next day) it show as done.

But in the background the nodes are still transferring data. When i connect to the backup agent on the machine directly, I can see the running Plan (showing 0% completion).

Why does the Management Server not showing the running plan? Has anybody seen similar behavior?

Regards

Hallo Manfred,

Thank you for your posting! How long are you using Acronis Management Server? Sometimes the SQL database of AMS becomes overloaded with outdated information and new entries are not synchronized. I would recommed to perform some preventive\healing procedures to make sure AMS is up and fully functional:

  • Please run a script from this article to clean up old entries in the AMS database;
  • Run AMS Troubleshooting script on the machine with AMS,  specify parameter  -fix:all
  • If the issue still persist, I would also re-add the machine to AMS: in order to remove the machine correctly please go directly to th Agent, then navigate to Options -> Machine options -> Machine Management and select  Stand-alone management. Then remove the machine from AMS console and re-add machine the same way directly from the Agents side). Check if the information is successfully transfered between AMS and Agent.

Thank you,
