NetApp dedup or Acronis dedup or both?

Thread needs solution

We bought a new NetApp storage server which a portion of will be used for the Acronis Storage Node for the backups. As part of the NetApp OS, it includes dedup functionality to dedup any files stored on the storage device. So does this mean we don't need the Acronis dedup and can just used what's already builtin to the NetApp device? What benefits does the Acronis dedup have, at an extra cost, that I won't get as part of the NetApp dedup functionality that's builtin? And I guess part of that depends on whether the Acronis backups are encrypted, which means that the NetApp dedup may not work at all.

NetApp deduplication most likely won't work with files in managed vault. Even without encryption, if compression is used, small changes in archive's headers will make the rest of the file very different. Even without compression, either file or disk backups have rather complicated internal organization and I doubt that NetApp deduplication can figure out original files that could be deduplicated.
