One large backup job or multiple smaller ones?

Thread needs solution

Currently running Acronis Backup 11.5 on a Hyper-V server that is configured with one large backup job for all (26) VMs currently running on the server.  Is there a best practice guide for how to go about configuring backup jobs of this magnitute?  I'm wondering if it's more efficient to have 26 individual jobs for each VM or if it really is better to just have the one large job.

Hello Brandon,

Thank you for your posting! I would say include all VMs into single backup plan and monitor the network usage during backing up. If network is overloaded, devide all machines into two groups - it should be enough to reduce the network load. Creation of multiple groups could be also efficient in terms of monitoring (f.e. group machines of different departments).

Thank you,
