Only one Drive in Backup Dialog visible
There are two SSDs installed in my Computer. One of them is the "main" drive with all relevant partitions and one smaller SSD with only a data partition.
When doing a backup from the bootable media, there is only the "main" Drive/Volume visible on the list of volumes to backup. When listing "Folders/Files" in the backup dialog, all partitions from the first drive and the partition from the second drive are visible and selectable. But I want to make an "all in one" backup from both drives (volumes) with MBR etc. so I think I have to select "whole" volumes. Intermixing the selctions of the first volume/drive and then the data partition from the second drive seems not to work.
How can I achieve this, and why is only one drive shown in the Volumes list?
Thanks in advance
bye
Marcus

Dear Mr. Vigoureux,
thanks for your answer!
I've build and use the Linux based Bootable Media. The two SSDs to make a backup from are both Samsung 830 Series with SATA Interface.
The "visible" media has 512GB and contains all partitions. The second SSD has 256GB and is used on linux as a simple data partition.
The question I have is if it is general possible to do a backup from more than one drive a time.
And please remember that when switching to the file display mode I see and can select all partitions from both drives. Only in the volume view there is the second smaller drive missing and only the "main" drive visible.
Thanks in advance
bye

Hello Marcus Woletz,
Thank you for your reply.
As you wrote, you are using the Acronis Linux bootable media and wants to backup two available disks from type SSD. However, in the backup dialog, only one disk is shown.
To answer your question, yes it is possible to back up more than one drive at the same time. For some reasons, other Customers solved this by changing the BIOS from UEFI to BIOS legacy mode, when using the bootable media. If this does not solve your issue, I recommend contacting support. You will find all available options in our Customer handbook.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Dear Peter.
sorry for the long delayed respond. I'm just using my computer with legacy BIOS mode so your tipp can't solve my problem. Should I now contact the support? Eventually the problem arises because the two drives are both Samsung 830 Series, one with 256GB and the other with 512 GB? Or could it be a problem to which SATA channels the drives are connected?
bye
