Override Tape at every Backup
Hello everyone,
This is my first post, so I hope I give you all information you need.
We have a difficult Situation and the Acronis-Support was not very helpful.
So I hope you can help me.
We want to have a simple old-school backup:
We want to run the backup from Monday to Friday.
We have one tape for every day.
We want to backup different folders from 5 Machines on the one tape.
We want to override the insert tape every time.
Example:
Monday I insert Tape1 and the Data is written to Tape
Tuesday I insert Tape1 again override everything and write Data from Tuesday
The Acronis-Support told us to use 1 Tape for every single Machine, but if I do this I will have 25 Tapes (5 Machines x 5 Days).
So maybe anyone has experience how we can override the tape every time we use it.
