Remote restore enters bios setup screen
When I initiate a remote restore from my Acronis Management Console to my remote machine the remote machine reboots and than the remote machine enters the bios setup screen instead of loading and starting the Acronis recovery job.
The remote machine is an IBM x3250 M4 with Windows server 2012 installed.

Hello Anna,
Thanks for your reply.
Normally when I reboot this machine the machine boots without entering the bios setup screen and loads windows 2012 normally without any user action. So why this is not working with ASRM I don't understand. It look likes the machine detected there is something changed in the boot config but I don't understand how.
In the attachment you'll find a photo.
Best regards,
Clemens.

Hello Clemens,
please activate ASRM manually and let me know if it works. Also please check if Acronis Linux-based Bootable Media can be started.
Thank you.

Hello Anna,
Can you explain to me how to manually activate ASRM?
Do you mean with "checking if Acronis Linux-based bootable Media can start" if the system can boot with a cdrom with Acronis Linux-based Media?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Beste regards,
Clemens.

Hello Clemens,
sorry for the delayed answer!
In my previous posting you can find the link to the guide on how to activate the ASRM. And yes, I meant starting your computer with Acronis bootable media CD.
Thank you.

Starting the computer with the Acronis bootable cd is no problem, but that's not what I need to have because the machine is planned to be on another site. So the reboot should be initiated remotely.

Hello Clemens,
then please check if ASRM works and I'll clarify what we need for further investigation.
Thank you.

Starting asrm and restoring works fine when I boot from cdrom.

Hello Clemens,
apparently you use a third-party bootloader and you need to reactivate it after remote restore.
Thank you.
