Remove archives from list

Thread needs solution

With one off my customers I use Acronis backup 11.5 build 11.5.38573

They use a acronis backup to a NAS, and once a week to a tapeunit.
The previous IT guy left an archive in the list if you go to personal vault and then the tape unit.

These archives do not exist anymore at any tape. How can I remove them from the overview list?
When i try to delete them I get an error "error opening archive" (duh :D).

Any tips are welcome.

Regards,

Marc

Create the archive folder structure that it is expecting, i.e.
d:\backup\vault\server01
or
\\tapedrive\server01\backup (make sure it's a blank tape tho)

Then go back into the product and select delete/remove, it should then remove from Acronis. You can then delete the folder structure once removed from Acronis.
(This works with vaults, so should work with personal ones)

I removed all the old archive structures.
The ones there are still 'alive'

The location is there (tapeunit Z:\)
But the archives not.

So it can go to Z:\
But it sees 2 archives ..
One archive with 3 backups that are current
One archive with 1 backups which is old and doesn't exist.

Hi Marc,

I would suggest you to erase the tape.

Erasing a tape physically deletes all backups stored on the tape and removes the information about these backups from the database. However the information about the tape itself remains in the database.

More information you will find here.

If the backup in the old archive are still shown, please send me screenshots of the vault-view with the backup in question.
