Replica to tape error

Hi,
we are facing lots of problems in backing up vmware virtual machines and exchange DAG database to tape. The backup works properly when writing to first destination on a disk vault, then fails when replicating to tape, we are working with a DELL tape library. We have this problem since september 2013 we are in touch with Acronis support but we really need to escalate the problem beacause all the suggestions did not have any effect. We are not able to collect logs because of an error in acronis collect log procedure (it fails with not enough memory error)
Acronis backup & recovery is installed on a phisycal windows 2008 r2 server with 16Gb of ram, Acronis version is 11.5 update 2 (11.5.38350).
it seems that if backing up directly on tape something is working, at least virtual machines backups do work when backing up directly on tape, but this is not an option: backups in this case are really long and we do not have a time window that big.

We had different errors but now dag job replica on tape fails with following, I translate the main error

Message: Unable to open 'arl:/2F7222E5-A928-4983-AF31-411A86A7E5DC/27AF259F-F6E8-4596-8149-4E7FB239BE0C/B3881B39-5D93-432E-BCAE-E7C7000FEF60'. Archive is corrupted

any help would be greatly appriciated

Hello,
some updates on this. Replica on tape of exchange backup and virtual machines backup keep on failing no matter what i do.
I tried to backup exchange database directly on tape using acrocmd (without exchange log truncation to keep the integrity of main backup chain), and this works as expected.

Unfortunatly i cannot backup virtual machines directly on tape, so i tried with acrocmd to replicate manually a backup taken on a disk vault. Also this operation works, BUT it seems that the command

acrocmd replicate backup --host=srvbackup --credentials=administrator,xxxxxx--loc="bsp://srvbackup/LOCAL HDD" --arc=application01_Archive(1) --backup=B4868107-ECB9-49BB-ACEC-A5134EF34732 --target="bsp://srvbackup/TAPE_VM"

where TAPE_VM is my tape vault made by 7 tapes always requires a free tape to work, no matter what i choose on tape parameters options. So i cannot append all my backups on a single tape.
Is there any option to make acrocmd replicate backup command append archives on tapes?

Some other advice on solving replica job?
