[RESOLVED] Can't open Disk Management

Thread needs solution

I'm using Windows 8 64 bit, and build 32308

It makes backups OK, but I wanted to clone a disk. When I click on Disk management I get the errors below. I'm not sure of this is because Windows 8 isn't officially supported, or something else

Hello Martin Couchman,

Thank you for posting your question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

As you have already correctly identified, this problem appears because the product was installed under Windows 8.

The current release of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 does not support Windows 8. However it is planned for the next public release to support Windows 8. You will find additional information here.

I recommend to remove this version of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 from your machine.

I will close this thread and if you need additional information or assistance you can reach me at any time via a private message.

Thank you.
