[RESOLVED] How to reduce very large catalog size?
I have a branch office server with about 30GB of data. The first of every month I do a full back, and each night for the rest of the month I do an incremental. Data is stored on a SAN, and I move prior months' backup files to an archive location. So my current backup location on the SAN never has more than a month's worth of data. When I move these historical backups, I don't do anything in B&R 11.5 to tell it the data has been moved/archived.
I've got 20GB worth of catalog files in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS folder. Is there a way to purge this so it doesn't take up so much space?
I am using Full Cataloging, because I want to be able to drill down to the file for a restore.

OK, that's good to know. So after I turn off full cataloging, is there a way to shrink the catalog file sizes?

Just answering my own question here - Acronis advised to delete the catalog subfolders with the large catalog files. So my steps were to set cataloging to Fast instead of full, delete the catalog folder with the large catalog file, and cycle the Acronis services.
