restore problem on ssd

Thread needs solution

On my workstation I have as ssdisk as disk0 with windows 7 ultimate [approx 200G mainly programs]. Further I have a harddisk [approx 500G] as

disk 1 with at the moment 2 partions. I have installed a clean version of windows 10 pro on one of the partions and during the last months

have installed many programmes and checked if all worked [approx 100G, mainly by reducing the number of programs I use now on windows 7].

Last week I want to switched to windows 10 by putting it on de ssdiks and keep window 7 by restore it to the harddisk in case I need it. I

therefore I made a diskimage of window 7 [ssd] and window 10 [hd partion/volume] with Acronis Backup 11.5. Next I restored the windows 10

image with the boot medium disk to the ssd. After correcting the boot with the window 10 installation disk, the window 10 version on the

ssdisk starts up but stops at the logonscreen. Every thing freezes then [no mouse or keyboard input works]. I can still startup with the

orginal windows 10 version on the harddisk. I tried several options like a save startup etc. I also tried a restore of window 7 to the ssd

but that works fine. I wonder what is wrong and would appreciate advise.
