restore from TI Home with B&R 11.5 possible?

Hello,

just wondering what is wrong...

Customer had a small Windows XP box with files for his company.
Each night, a scheduled backup and verification process was saving a special folder.

Now, the customer migrated to SBS 2011, and so i tried to convince him, to go again with Acronis.
Unfortunately, there is NO POSSIBILTIY to access the tib archives from TI Home (version 2012 or 2013).

OUCH!

Any clues?

Does this mean, even with SP1, B&R 11.5 is still unable to open the own files?

Seriously?

If so, my customer is not interested anymore in Acronis, because such a inconsistency in itself doesn't build up trust in a product.

These are not 'it's own files' - Backup&Recovery never was able (at least it wasn't supported) to use backups made by True Image Home. If this error appears when you right-click on a .tib file in windows explorer and select 'recover' - this happens because the backup is missing .xml meta file generated by Backup&Recovery. You can try to select the folder with backup in the product GUI and press 'refresh' button as described in http://kb.acronis.com/content/36474 .
