Task puzzlement and notification build 37613
I have a custom task made specifically with build 37608, since updated to 37613.
Task:
Source: 3 partitions of my data drive.
Destination: Separate internal drive dedicated to images.
Settings: Full backup every Saturday, differentials Sunday to Friday.
Retention Rules: Delete backups older than 28 days. Consolidate backups before deletion. Apply rules after a full backup is created.
Archive Cleanup: Follows retention rules.
Today the retention rules for the first time were acted upon. I'm not sure though that the result is correct.
The first five days of the task (w/c 14 April) were consolidated after todays differential, but confusingly have resulted in a new full and three differentials. The dates in the file name have taken on a different date than the original archive, they have taken on the 15 April (the Monday) this also includes the differentials.
If I look at the Archive view, the new full is dated as 16 April.
I received a notification that today's differential had occurred, but not one to say the retention had taken place. I wonder if the retention notification shouldn't perhaps be included in the task email.
