Unable to start Acronis Management Server Service

Thread needs solution

Hi All,
I am currently facing an issue when trying to start Acronis Management Service from windows services. This ideally is causing issues when I try to connect to my management server from Acronis Management console.

I am a newbie in using the application and thought if anybody could help me debugging this out.

OS: Win 2008 R2
Acronis: 11.5
DB: MS SQL server 2008 R2

I did try to fix the registry setting based on the post mentioned below but no difference.

The SQL instance and the acronis management server service runs on the same workstation.
Could anyone as well advise if there are any relevant logs that I would need to look for , checked
C:\Program Data\Acronis\AMS\Logs\ but no much log info can be found.

Hello Sriram,

Could you please clarify if the Acronis Management Service is stopping by itself or crashing or is this something else?

You can see if this is a crash by going into the Windows Event Logs -> Application after the service stops. A crash will show up as an error event for ManagementServer.exe.
