Universal Restore Help Needed.

Thread needs solution

I have an "base image" for new systems that saves me lots of setup/deployment time. When the base image was taken, I was using the integrated RAID controller in RAID1. I have not started using a 3Ware 9750-4i on new systems. The base image I restore to the 3Ware RAID1 array is a Ghost image, but it does not boot to Windows because I need to run Universal Restore and insert the 3Ware driver. This is where is gets weird. I boot to Acronis and it says there is no operating system detected therefore I cannot insert the driver, BUT if I start Disk Management I can see the drives fine. If I try to boot into Winodws, it does begin to boot, but bluescreens during boot due to the missing driver. I am not understanding why Universal Restore is not detecting the operating system that is clearly there on the drives that Acronis Disk Management can see.

Hi Lee,

Thank you for your posting! First of all check that you are using the latest version of bootable media, which is currently 43956 for your product. You can download the media under your account. If the issue persists, please refer to the following article.  As workaround please try the WinPE-based bootable media with pre-defined drivers.

Thank you!
