Unrealized backups to be made later

Thread needs solution

I set up complete backups of my computers on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. and incrementals from Monday to Thursday at 9:00 p.m. When it finishes I program to turn off the computers, but when it is not possible to make the copy the next morning when the user turns on the computer starts to make the copy that could not do the previous day and then the computer logically goes off because it is configured as well . As I can avoid that if a copy has not been done do nothing, just make the next copy when it corresponds.

Thanks.

Hello,

You can disable it in the schedule options: https://forum.acronis.com/system/files/missing_backups.png

Also, it is mentioned in the User Guide http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisBackup_11.7/i…

If one or more task launches were missed while the machine was powered off, the software tries to create a backup at the machine startup. If you do not need this extra backup, clear the If the machine is turned off, run missed tasks at the machine startup check box.

First of all thanks for your advice.

And does this also work if the backup fails because there is not enough space on the target disk of the backup or i must select another option?

Thanks again.

If backup failes it will not restarted after machine reboot. You can specify number of retries during the backup in the backup options (for example, if your network is unstable or destination has some problems).
