[UNSOLVED] Acronis Services shuts down occasionally

Thread needs solution

I'm running Acronis Advanced Backup 11.7 and Acronis for VMware on a Windows Server 2012 R2 and sometimes some of the services are not running, when I check on the server.

The services I've seen not running are: Acronis Storage Node Service and Acronis vmProtect Managed Machine Service. All my Acronis services except Acronis VSS Provider are set to Automatic in the Startup Type.

Has anyone experienced this problem before, and if yes, have you found a possible solution?

Hello PS,

Thank you for your posting! Could you please check Winows Event logs (Application and System tabs). Are there any events with ID 1000 Application Crash related to Acronis components? If yes, it would be better to open a support ticket to investigate the issue.

Thank you,

Yes, there's quite a handful of Application Errors. My Acronis Support expired few months ago though, so would I have to renew it for the application to work as intended? Would it be possible for me to just post the error details here?

Hello PS,

Could you please provide us with the following information:

1. in what order have you installed Acronis components?
2. Acronis System Report from the affected machine, I'll send an ftp link for upload in PM

Based on this information we will try to reproduce the issue on our environment.

Thank you,
